Oysterhaven
Oysterhaven Bay is a beautiful sheltered beach located around 10 km from the coastal town of Kinsale, in Co Cork. These calm waters provide the perfect location to try scuba diving for the first time. This dive site is also where we practice our PADI confined water, and open water diving skills. Oysterhaven has an expansive natural seagrass bed which acts as both a carbon sink and nursery to smaller sea life such as nudibranch and pipefish, other marine life would include dogfish, congers, lobster, and crab.
The average depth at this dive site is around 4m, with a possible 7m on offer at high tide.
If you have never been to Oysterhaven, it is the type of place you will keep coming back to, very peaceful and child friendly.
